Title: Ducks repose under Polar Night blue
Location: From Vikran-Larseng ferry, Norway
Description: Captured on a trip into Tromsø. A raft of ducks swim leisurely along a tranquil winter sound near Vikran, as the vestiges of the Polar Night color all things blue. (The Polar Night, wherein the sun remains 24/7 below the horizon, ends around 17 January for Tromsø, but it can last up to several weeks longer in outlying areas depending on the mountains that block the horizon.)
