Title: 10th-grade graduation banquet

Location: Sand, Norway

Description: Captured during a 10th-grade graduation. In Norway, primary education ends at 10th grade; graduates then choose how to proceed with their lives, whether to continue their education, work, etc. Graduation is therefore a significant event for youth not yet 18 years of age, and at Sand skole (Sand School), parents and teachers put on a feast—as part of the graduation ceremony at the Rambergstua community hall—to help commemorate the achievement.
