A stunning sunrise—a preview of below-horizon sunrises to come during the approaching Polar Night—expands in firecolors over the distant ranges comprising Kvittinden and Russetinden, extends over the closer Mårfjell range on the right, and reflects onto Malangen fjord (looking southeast as it becomes Nordfjorden).
