Title: Second Coming sunset over Kvaløya 3
Location: From near Sand, Norway
Description: Captured on the way home from a choir practice. The late-night sun—only a week away from the Midnight Sun—seems to set fire to the entire sky—as well as to Malangen fjord—and to churn out billowing clouds of smoke, as it sets directly over distant Kvaløya at the very mouth of the fjord in a stunning blaze of glory, as though to herald in the Second Coming of our Lord. On the right are the foothills of the Klemmartindan range. (Compare mhp777.com images D20987, D20998, D21016, D21026, D21058.)
